Located on the cliff of Roqueprins, overlooking the village of La Canourgue (typical village of Lozère), this beautiful aerial tour includes all that can be met in Via Ferrata. It is classified as AD (Hard), or D (Difficult) and has two routes of varying difficulty witn bridges and a zip line.

The meeting for the activity will be either in the village of La Malène where you will be escorted by your guide, or at the village of La Canourgue, where you can combine your activity with a visit to this charming village of Lozère.
From La Malène, you cross the Causse Sauveterre, a magnificent plateau of altitude dotted with fields, forests and typical villages, and after a 35 minutes drive you will reach the top of the cliff of Roqueprins which overlooks the splendid village of Canourgue also called "Little Venice" because of its many canals crossing it.
From La Canourgue, you will meet your guide in front of the village post office, where you will be transported to the site in about twenty minutes.
There you will be equipped with a harness, via ferrata-specific lanyards, a pulley and a mountain helmet. Then after a security briefing specific to the practice of via ferrata, the activity can begin.
This Lozère via ferrata starts with a vertical zigzag descent where you can get used to making changes to your carabiners, using your quickdraw, and gaining confidence in yourself.
This short walk will take you to a small trail leading to a beautiful rocky ridge. From there, two routes are possible: an easy one that goes directly to the rest of the route, the other more complex, goes around a monolith where the holds are more spaced.
We arrive then in the most impressive part of this via ferrata. After a short horizontal progression, the route separates again into two
.An easy one slightly or a difficult descendant to reach the bottom of a vertical net of ten meters that you will have to climb. The atmosphere is guaranteed and adrenaline is present.
Then the routes meet again to lead to a beautiful Nepalese bridge where you will have to show skill and balance. An get out is however possible for those who do not feel the soul of a tightrope walker.
You will then continue by a pretty zip line of about fifty meters without difficulty (optional). The return is along the cliff where the ascent is easy and interspersed with rest areas.
You can take time to admire one last time the grandiose landscape that awaits you before quietly resuming your way back to the village of Sainte-Enimie.

How to get here:
From Sainte-énimie - 30 mins drive : Take 907 bis then D 998 to La Canourgue. The meeting point is on the carpark front of the post office.You will find several bars and restaurants there if you want to have lunch before or after the activity.
